Indie developer InnoGames has announced its new part farming simulator part adventure game Sunrise Village is out on both Android and iOS devices starting today.

Sunrise Village is a cosy farming and adventure game that begins with the player traveling to the titular town at their grandfather’s behest to investigate some odd happenings, such as a mysterious fog or weird vines clinging to all the town’s buildings. Over time, and as you investigate further, this adventure will take you down a legendary tale about fabled crafters creating six magical crystals to spread elemental energy across the town.

Your story will begin right there, well after you've created a personalized character that is. You will then take off and venture out into the village and surrounding areas in an attempt to find all of these crystals and figure out what’s happening to the town.

As you progress, you will unlock new areas to explore alongside running into new villagers who will need your help with tasks like rebuilding their workshops or homes. If you take the time to help them, they will return the favour by offering you specialized materials that can make your own farm grow and progress as well. A vital part of the game is the in-between adventures section, where you will help your grandfather out on the farm and grow or make various things that will help you on those previously mentioned adventures.

Another important aspect of the gameplay is the multiplayer portion, which allows you to create and join teams in order to accomplish different tasks together. With this group you might join, you can all work together to complete the Weekly Team Explorations, which will further help you to discover new lands and materials alongside additional rewards of other varieties.

Sunrise Village is available for free starting today on both the App Store andGoogle Play, so if you’re looking for your next adventure title with a dash of multiplayer socialness, give it a go!
